We discussed our safety procedures, the story of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in a small group instantly made me feel safe.

Descending was unforgettable. At first, it was just a dark shape in the distance, and then the ship appeared. It is massive. It's now a bustling new home, covered in corals and swarming with fish. I spotted giant groupers hiding from the hull, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. The feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly structure is check here indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It's a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** enough.
